The Air Defense Units conducted a live-fire tactical exercise as part of the training plan for 2024, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

Before the practical shooting, servicemen received instructions on safety rules, the purpose of the exercise, and the shooting conditions.

During the exercise, the crews successfully completed tasks such as bringing the Igla-S man-portable anti-aircraft missile system to combat state and neutralizing air targets of the imaginary enemy.

The ministry emphasized that these exercises are aimed at enhancing the combat readiness of units and the individual professionalism of servicemen.
