Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev has met with Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay.

During the meeting, the CICA Secretary General praised Azerbaijan’s assuming the Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures.

The meeting focused on the partnership opportunities within COP29, potential priorities of Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the CICA, including the CICA Business Council, as well as preparations for the 7th plenary session of the Business Council and the upcoming 9th Business Forum scheduled to be held in the 4th quarter of 2024 in Bishkek, as well as regional and economic cooperation.
