Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev held a meeting with the country’s Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets to discuss COP29-related issues of cooperation.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian Minister emphasized that both countries are ready to cooperate within the COP29.

The Azerbaijani ambassador noted that Azerbaijan also stands ready to support Ukraine’s worthy participation in the COP29 Climate Change Conference to be held in Baku.

Minister Ruslan Strilets provided information about the Ukraine’s application, EcoZagroza, noting that the digitization of environmental data is a priority issue not only for Ukraine, but also for the partners of both countries.

During the meeting, the two also stressed the importance of cooperation in order to prepare joint initiatives for COP29.
