Azerbaijani female chess player Ulviyya Fataliyeva has achieved a personal best mark after tight fights claiming her 4th victory at the European Women’s Chess Championship 2024 held in Rhodes, Greece.

Heading into the 5th round of the competition, Fataliyeva has a sole lead together with Spanish Marta Garcia.

With 182 participants coming from 35 federations, the event broke the participation record and became the largest European Women’s Chess Championship ever.
