Baku – In response to the recent speech by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session, Aykhan Hajizada, the Spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed strong objections. The spokesperson accused the Armenian leadership of preferring baseless statements over practical steps in the peace process with Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajizada highlighted the Armenian Prime Minister’s contradictory views and criticized Armenia for making allegations against Azerbaijan. He pointed out the Armenian side’s failure to comment on the draft agreement “on establishment of peace and interstate relations” with Azerbaijan and its delay in starting negotiations on the agreement for more than two months. The Azerbaijani spokesperson emphasized the unacceptability of these actions from the Armenian side, underlining the need for concrete steps towards resolving ongoing disputes.
