Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev has met with Alessandra Roccasalvo UNDP Resident Representative in the country.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev spoke of the prosperous cooperation between the ministry and the United Nations Development Program. He elaborated on the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan, including the ‘DOST’ Concept.

Minister Babayev also underscored that Azerbaijan’s successful reforms have garnered significant recognition at the international level.

In response, Roccasalvo commended the collaborative efforts focused on social protection for vulnerable groups and initiatives aimed at enhancing their access to the labor market and small businesses.

Both parties exchanged updates on ongoing projects and discussed opportunities for future cooperation..
