The global market has seen a decrease in the price of Brent crude oil for January 2024 delivery. The decrease was reported during trading operations at the ICE London Intercontinental Exchange.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the price of Brent crude oil dropped by USD 0.84, or 1.03%, to settle at $80.58 per barrel. Concurrently, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also experienced a decrease on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). The WTI brand’s price fell by USD 1.56, or 2.02%, for January 2023 delivery, reaching $75.54 per barrel. These changes in oil prices reflect the dynamic nature of the global oil market and have potential implications for the global economy.
