“We met with Mr. Andrew Torre, Regional President for the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) region at Visa, as part of our participation in the Spring Meetings 2024 of the WB and the IMF,” Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov noted on X, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, during the meeting, they discussed the current cooperation and perspectives on collaboration between the Central Bank and Visa.

“We also exchanged views on expanding cooperation with Visa to promote innovation in the payment sector,” Taleh Kazimov emphasized.
