President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov conveyed his congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on Azerbaijan being chosen as the host country for the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

The Kyrgyz President voiced his thoughts in this regard in a joint press conference with the President of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

“This, indeed, is a significant occasion and we are very glad that our brother country hosts such a major event”, Sadyr Zhaparov noted.
