VIENNA — International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi announced strong collaboration with Azerbaijan as the organization looks ahead to COP29 in Baku. In a message posted on the X platform, Grossi referred to the importance of nuclear energy in achieving a Net Zero future and emphasized the acceleration of nuclear initiatives following COP28.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan continues to play a crucial role in sustainable energy efforts, which will be a focal point at the upcoming climate conference. He highlighted these points during a special IAEA event at Azerbaijan’s General Conference.
