‘We have successful cooperation with Azerbaijan without a doubt. If Azerbaijan wants to improve, modernize and develop some sector, it can count on the help of Italians,’ Andrea Maccanico, head of the Baku Office of the Italian Trade Agency, told journalists, APA reports.

He said that Italian companies work in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.

‘In Garabagh, we already cooperate in the sense that there are Italian companies engaged in design work. This of course includes the construction and engineering sector because Garabagh needs to be reconstructed and the prospects of construction and reconstruction of Garabagh with green, modern technologies that have little impact on the environment are especially interesting for companies.’

The head of the Baku Office of agency added that Italian companies will also be represented at COP29.
