Chairman of the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan Altynbek Abduvapov met with the Deputy Minister of Finance of Japan Masato Kanda. Press service of the department reported.
The parties discussed the results of the project «Improving the human resource development system of the State Tax Service,» which was implemented by the Tax Service together with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Altynbek Abduvapov thanked the Tax Service specialists for the opportunity for distance learning and emphasized that the products created within the framework of cooperation and technical assistance from JICA contribute to the achievement of modern goals and objectives in the field of the tax system focused on digitalization.
Masato Kanda highly appreciated the results of the project and noted the importance of training qualified specialists. According to him, fair taxation is one of the most important aspects of democratic principles around the world.
The Kyrgyz-Japanese three-year project to improve the human resources development system of the Tax Service was implemented with the aim of increasing tax literacy of the population through the introduction of distance/e-learning.
Thanks to the project, department employees improve their skills using smartphones, laptops and personal computers without interrupting work and with minimal time expenditure. Animated videos on tax literacy for schoolchildren have been created, and a studio has been equipped for the preparation of educational audio and video lessons.
