Kazakhstan extends ban on export of coal by road

Participants of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Foreign Trade Policy and Participation in International Economic Organizations decided to extend the ban on export of coal by road. The Kazakhstan’s media report.

This is due to the upcoming start of the heating season. The ban is extended for uninterrupted supply of social coal to the population.

In addition, for the uninterrupted supply of gas to the population and supplies to the automobile market, a restriction on the export of liquefied petroleum gas by road and rail was introduced.

Recall, Kazakhstan imposed the ban on coal exports in May for six months.
