The Absheron gas and condensate field, located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, produced more than 1.5 bcm of gas, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov posted about this on his X account, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, approximately 580 thousand tons of condensate was produced during a year for the early production scheme (EPS) phase.
‘The plans of developing the Absheron field in stages and increasing the annual production from 1.5 bcm to 6 bcm are significant contributions to the energy security of our country, as well as of our regional and European partners,’ – was noted in the post.
