BAKU: The new competition policy will open up extra opportunities for the restoration of Azerbaijan’s liberated lands, Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov said during the First National Competition Forum held in Baku today, Trend reports.
“A new competition policy that supports dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth will also open up additional opportunities for the restoration of liberated territories. The number of market participants will increase, the competitiveness of local businesses will grow, and the introduction of innovation and digitalization in the private sector will expand,’ he explained.
The State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Control of the Consumer Market participates in the preparation and implementation of state policy in the field of antimonopoly policy, public procurement, technical regulation, standardization, metrology, and consumer protection.
The main mission of the service is to create conditions for free competition and effective protection of entrep
reneurship, which ensures the sustainable development of the country’s economy.
