KHANKENDI — President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan attended the inauguration of the newly renovated Nursery-Kindergarten No. 1 in Khankendi on September 19, following a comprehensive overhaul of the facility. The renovation was commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Education and began in May of this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the facility, which can accommodate 80 children, underwent significant improvements, including the refurbishment of its 0.21-hectare grounds and 1,340-square-meter building. The kindergarten now features four group rooms, a medical room, a methodical cabinet, a kitchen, an assembly hall, a sports hall, and a laundry room, offering enhanced amenities for early childhood education.
