President Japarov Surveys State Mortgage Housing Project in Bishkek

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov undertook an unscheduled inspection of a significant housing construction project in Bishkek. The project, overseen by the State Mortgage Company, aims to provide housing for needy citizens. The president’s spokesman, Askat Alagozov, shared details of this visit on social media.

According to 24.kg News Agency, President Japarov learned that the project involves the construction of 11 eighteen-story apartment buildings, comprising a total of 986 apartments. These buildings are scheduled to be fully commissioned by September 2024.

During his visit, President Japarov observed the progress on the construction site where a total of 39 multi-story buildings will eventually be erected. These buildings are part of the state mortgage program, designed to provide housing to citizens under preferential terms.

Highlighting the importance of the initiative, President Japarov emphasized the need for high-quality construction standards for these residential units. This project reflects the Kyrgyz government’s commitment to addressing housing needs and improving living conditions for its citizens.
