Tajikistan concerns over denial of its citizens’ entry into Russia


DUSHANBE: Tajikistan voices concern over the increasing number of cases where Tajik citizens are denied entry into Russia without valid reasons, Trend reports.

According to Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this issue was raised during a meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan, Semyon Grigoriev, at the Ministry.

The meeting focused on further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries across various domains and upcoming political events in bilateral and multilateral formats. Discussions also touched upon the challenges faced by citizens of Tajikistan in recent weeks when crossing Russia’s state border.

On March 22, unidentified individuals opened fire with automatic weapons at “Crocus City Hall” in the Moscow suburb of Krasnogorsk. The incident occurred before the start of a concert by the band “Piknik.” On March 26, emergency responders completed the clearing of debris following the terrorist attack. ck is at least 145. In Tajikistan, nine individuals suspected of involvement in the terrorist act at “Crocus City Hall” have been detained.
