Kazakhstan trampoline team’s coach shares great pleasure from competitions in Baku

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan’s Trampoline Gymnastics Team always comes to competitions in Baku with great pleasure, the team’s Head Coach Sergey Vertyankin told Trend.

 

“We have been friends with the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for a long time and constantly hold training camps in Baku. The Kazakh national team came to the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics with five athletes,” Vertyankin said.

 

“Among them are four men and one girl, who participates in the World Cup among adult gymnasts for the first time. They arrived in Baku two weeks before the start to hold training camps here. The choice is not accidental, here is a very good gymnastics arena, all conditions for productive training and preparation have been created. We also took into account the moment of adaptation of athletes before the competition,” he noted.

 

According to the head coach of the Kazakh trampoline gymnastics team, his pupils will try out new combinations at the World Cup in Baku.

 

“The World Cup in Baku is the first start this year. We need to try out combinations, which we plan to add to the programs at future competitions. The selection for the 2024 Olympic Games is underway and the first start is important from this point of view, the next Trampoline World Cup will take place in the summer, and there is enough time to draw conclusions,” Vertyankin added.

 

The World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics is being held from February 18 through 19 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

 

More than 60 gymnasts from 16 countries of the world participating in the competition are presenting individual and synchronous programs.

 

Azerbaijan is represented at the competitions by Seljan Mahsudova who won the silver medal at the last year’s World Cup, held in the country.

Azerbaijani gymnast reaches finals at Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Today, Azerbaijani gymnast Seljan Makhsudova will perform in the finals of the individual program for women at the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku, Trend reports.

 

The final competitions in the individual program for women will start at 14:20. Rivals of Seljan Makhsudova in the final will be representatives of Brazil, Kazakhstan, France, the USA and Latvia.

 

During the qualifying competitions of the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku, held on February 18, Seljan Makhsudova took third place with a score of 53.370 points.

 

On February 18-19, the World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. More than 60 gymnasts from 16 countries of the world participate in the competition. Gymnasts present individual and synchronous programs.

Founder of Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce predicts growth in bilateral trade

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Israel is expected to grow this year, the Founder of the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI) Alex Kaplun told Trend.

 

According to Kaplun, relations between the countries will only improve and government projects will only expand.

 

“As for the trade turnover between entrepreneurs, here we are talking about an indicator within one billion USD. We see great growth potential in the field of private trade,” he said. “We already see how Israeli-Azerbaijani companies work together, implement joint projects in the agricultural sector. In the next three years the trade turnover can increase.”

 

Besides, according to the IACCI founder, agreements are already being signed between Azerbaijan and Israel.

 

From January through November 2022, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Israel amounted to $7 billion.

 

The IACCI is the most effective partner for both Israeli and Azerbaijani business people, SMEs and large corporations who seek to enter or expand their activities in both countries. In 2013, in Tel Aviv a meeting of the chamber founders was held, where Alex Kaplun was unanimously elected the president and the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber.

 

The organization hold close ties with the Israeli Export Institute, еhe Israeli Manufacturers association, the Chamber of Commerce Federation as well as Governmental ministries and Israel embassy in Baku.

AGF always organizes competitions at high level – SecGen of Latvian Gymnastics Federation

BAKU, Azerbaijan, The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) always organizes competitions at a high level, Secretary General of the Latvian Gymnastics Federation Natalia Prokofieva told Trend.

 

“Competitions in Baku are always held at a high level. There is a very friendly atmosphere at the Trampoline World Cup,” Prokofieva said.

 

Gymnast Darja Ovcaruka represents Latvia at competitions in Baku.

 

“We put a lightweight combination for Darja in these competitions so that she would pass it confidently for herself, gain a foothold on the world stage, and then we will work for the future, complicate the combination for selection for the 2024 Olympics,” she said.

 

Speaking about the development of gymnastics in Azerbaijan, Prokofieva stressed that we have many promising athletes in our country.

 

“I observe the development of gymnastics in Azerbaijan not only in trampolining, but also in rhythmic gymnastics. During this visit, I was able to see how the Azerbaijani team is being prepared in group exercises for the junior championship. The training is very interesting and intensive. In trampoline gymnastics Magsud Mahsudov stands out – the brother of Seljan Mahsudova. There are many gymnasts in Azerbaijan who will show very good results in the future,” she concluded.

Gymnast from Kazakhstan takes first place at Trampoline World Cup in Baku

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Athlete Danil Mussabayev, representing Kazakhstan, took first place with 59.240 points at the World Cup in trampolining in Baku in the individual program for men, Trend reports.

 

In second place with a score of 58.530 points, Spanish gymnast Jorge Martin, the third place was taken by the representative of France, Allan Morante, with result of 58.270 points.
