In June-July, 77 people were detained in the city of Shirvan as suspects in crimes related to drugs and other criminal acts, the Interior Ministry said.

Of these, 52 were involved in connection with illegal drug trafficking.

At the same time, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for 36, and 16 – transfer to police supervision.

In total, over 9 kg of drugs were withdrawn from circulation.

Another 25 people were suspected of theft, fraud, circulation of counterfeit money, illegal possession of weapons.

All the facts are being investigated by the Shirvan police department.
