$79.000 will be spent on installation of busts and official corners in healthcare facility

It turns out that the “Yeni Clinic” hospital in Baku, commissioned in March 2020, lacked certain attributes typical for all state-owned enterprises and facilities. The new management decided to fill this gap.

According to the unified portal of state electronic procurement, LLC “Kaspian Standart” (TIN: 1301633471) on November 24 announced the winner of the tender for purchase and installation of busts; creation of two corners; installation of flagpoles. The cost of the company’s tender offer is 134.700 manats, or $79.000

Marble busts of Heydar Aliyev will be installed in front of the hospital and inside the “Yeni Clinic”. Two corners are created to inform on the activities of former and current Presidents of Azerbaijan Heydar and Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. There will be three flagpoles with a height of 9 m on the site.

Previous chief physician of this clinic, Parviz Abbasov, was arrested in April 2021. Current chief physician Javid Pashayev has held this position since July this year.

Note that “Yeni Clinic” is designed for 575 beds. There are departments of surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, therapy, emergency medical care, hemodialysis, polyclinic department, etc.

Also, there are 70 intensive care units and 21 operating rooms. At the opening of the hospital, it was announced that more than 1,500 doctors and members of the medical staff would work here. Total area of the hospital is about 100.000 m2
