“Accor” and the Association of Hotels of Azerbaijan signed cooperation agreement

The world’s leading hotel group “Accor” announced today the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Association of Hotels of Azerbaijan.

The agreement provides for cooperation between both sides in order to work together to strengthen the reputation of Azerbaijan as a growing tourist, business and investment market.

“We are glad to cooperate with the Association and are ready to share the international expertise of the “Accor” group in order to contribute to the formation of new standards of hospitality in the country. Azerbaijan has limitless tourism potential and is able to compete with the most popular world resorts, and we hope that the appearance of more hotels of recognizable international brands will contribute to the popularity of this destination,” said Alexis Delaroff, Director General of “Accor New East Europe”.

Note that “Accor” is one of the three world leaders in the number of resort hotels. The group unites 5,300 hotels in 110 countries around the world. The Group has one of the most diverse and fully integrated ecosystems in the hospitality industry, including more than 40 luxury hotel brands (such as Raffles, Fairmont), premium (Pullman, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, MGallery), medium (Novotel, Mercure) and economy class (the ibis family of hotels).

Accor’s portfolio in Azerbaijan includes two hotels: the luxurious Fairmont Baku, located in the Flame Towers complex, and the “Ibis Baku City” economy class hotel, one of the first ibis hotels with the new Agora design concept, which opened in July 2021.
