Activist Tatyana Medvedeva was taken to the Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek. Karshylyk organization reported.
The activist planned to hold a picket on May 1.
«Karshylyk organization announced a picket on May 1. The main requirements were to raise wages in the country, to eradicate harassment in workplaces and educational places. That is why the supporter of the organization is under pressure from the authorities,» the organization said.
The Internal Affairs Department of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency. The department noted that the activist was taken to the police station because of the materials previously registered in the information log.
«Nobody detained the activist. She was taken to the police station, wrote an explanatory note and was released,» the department said.
