AFAD announces quakes in Turkiye causes change in Earth’s crust

“The number of aftershocks recorded after quakes in Turkiye has been announced,” said the representative of Turkiye’s Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) Orkhan Tatar, APA reports.

According to him, after the quakes, 3858 aftershocks have been recorded.

He noted that during the devastating quakes lasting up to 2 minutes have caused changes up to 7 m 30 sm in Earth’s crust.
