AIIB and Uzbekistan Discuss Future Transport Projects to Boost Infrastructure

The discussion underscored the vital role of transport infrastructure in AIIB’s strategic interests and its ongoing commitment to supporting major projects in Uzbekistan.

According to Trend News Agency, Limitovsky emphasized the transport sector’s pivotal role in the region’s development and expressed AIIB’s keen interest in continuing their collaboration with Uzbekistan on new infrastructure projects. Minister Makhkamov highlighted AIIB’s role as a crucial partner in financing significant transport initiatives, which have bolstered economic ties and regional connectivity.
