It is a key phase of the war, thus all weapons must be provided to Ukraine for it to win, said Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary-General in an interview with “Handelsblatt” newspaper, APA reports.

“We are at a crucial stage in the war. We are fighting hard battles. Therefore, it is critical that Ukraine is provided with all of the weaponry it needs to win and defend its freedom. Military assistance to Ukraine is the quickest path to peace.”

NATO Secretary-General added that Russian President Vladimir Putin made a mistake by attacking Ukraine.

“He overestimated the strength of his army. We see their mistakes, lack of morale, team problems and weak security,” said Stoltenberg.

The Secretary-General emphasized that the Russians are taking heavy losses to achieve their goals and they should not be underestimated.
