On April 1, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross, press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
Touching upon traditional friendship and partnership relations, the existence of business relations in all fields between Azerbaijan and France, the Prosecutor General has spoken about cooperation between law enforcement bodies of our states.
Prosecutor General stressed that Azerbaijan’s internationally-recognized territories, kept under occupation by Armenia for about 30 years, have been liberated under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, our country has restored its territorial integrity within the framework of the norms and principles of international law in accordance with resolutions of the UN Security Council.
Ambassador Zacharie Gross expressing his gratitude for sincere reception has noted that the France give great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan and relations between the two countries develop at a high level and successfully.
Zacharie Gross noted that he hopes to be established of peace and tranquility in the region in the following period.
Ambassador noting that he strongly condemns atrocities committed against civilians and servicemen, called sides for investigation of these issues, and punish the perpetrators.
Ambassador noted that France is ready to participate in the restoration of the liberated territories from the occupation.
