BAKU — The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) reported the discovery of 59 landmines and 690 unexploded ordnances (UXO) in recently liberated territories during operations conducted between September 9 and September 15.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ANAMA uncovered 44 anti-personnel mines, 15 anti-tank mines, and 690 UXOs in the regions of Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Khankandi, Gubadli, Khojavand, Jabrayil, and Zangilan. During this period, 1,115 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, contributing to the ongoing demining efforts in these regions.
