The website of the Russian Ministry of Defense posted on April 26 a message about the holding of a “humanitarian and medical action in the village of Aknaberd in the Shaumyan region of Nagorno-Karabakh.”
There is no Shahumyan region in Nagorno-Karabakh region in principle. Earlier, the separatists renamed Kalbajar into the Shahumyan region.
However, the specified village is not located in Kalbajar. What the Armenians call Aknaberd is the former Azerbaijani village of Umudlu and it is located in the former Mardakert region of Karabakh, and now in the Terter region of Azerbaijan.
The leadership of the Russian peacekeepers should, in addition to humanitarian actions and other events, first study the geography of the region, unless, of course, they deliberately do not make such mistakes.
