Starting from afternoon, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of Yukhari Shorja settlement of Basarkechar district using various caliber weapons, sniper rifles and grenade launchers subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions in the direction of Zeylik settlement of Kalbajar district, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

“The Azerbaijan Army Units are taking adequate measures to suppress the provocation of the opposing side, and currently, shooting in this direction continues.

There are no losses among the military personnel of the Azerbaijan Army.

The Azerbaijan Army Units control the operational situation,” the ministry said.
