Armenian Parliament Set to Review Border Delimitation Regulations with Azerbaijan


Yerevan: The Foreign Relations Commission of the Armenian Parliament is set to discuss the ratification of the regulations for the Commission on the Delimitation and Demarcation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan borders today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the regulations, which aim to define the precise lines between Armenia and Azerbaijan, have been included in today’s agenda of the Foreign Relations Commission. These regulations were initially signed on August 30, 2024, and later received approval from the Constitutional Court of Armenia on September 26. Following the court’s approval, the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers forwarded the document to the Parliament on October 8 for further discussion. The discussion by the parliamentary commission marks a critical step in formalizing the border between the two nations, following years of territorial disputes.
