BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. The trial on the criminal case of Armenian saboteur Gagik Voskanyan, detained in Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar, has been completed, Trend reports.
The verdict was announced at a session chaired by Ganja Court on Grave Crimes Judge Abdulla Mammadov.
Based on the verdict, Gagik Voskanyan was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Earlier, the prosecutor proposed that the court sentence Gagik Voskanyan to 18 years of imprisonment.
It was noted that he should serve 5 years in a closed prison and the rest in a strict security correctional institution. After serving the sentence, he should be deported from Azerbaijan.
