Armenia’s Constitutional Court Approves Delimitation Commission with Azerbaijan

Yerevan: Armenia’s Constitutional Court has approved the regulations governing the joint intergovernmental commission responsible for the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. The approval comes after a document was signed between the two countries on August 30, marking a step toward resolving ongoing territorial disputes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, cited by APA, the court’s decision supports the legal framework for the commission, which is tasked with defining the official border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The approval is seen as a necessary step for advancing negotiations between the neighboring countries, which have been engaged in long-standing border tensions.
