As a result of Armenia’s rocket shelling at Azerbaijan’s Ganja a year ago, 12 civilians were killed, more than 40 people injured

One year has passed since Armenia’s shelling the next rocket at Azerbaijan’s Ganja during Patriotic War, APA reports.

On October 17, 2020, at about 1 a.m., Armenia shelled ballistic missiles at Ganja which is Azerbaijan’s second-largest city.

As a result of the horrible attack at Ganja city, located far from the front line, 12 civilians, including two children, were killed and more than 40 people injured.

Armenia deliberately killed civilians with ballistic missile attack at Ganja in gross violation of norms and principles of international law, including international humanitarian law, as well as the declared humanitarian ceasefire, thus Armenia committed war crimes and crimes against humanity

The Armenian leadership bears full responsibility for this crime.

Note that during the 44-day Patriotic War, Armenia shelled rocket Ganja on October 4, 5, 8, 11 and 17.

As a result, 26 civilians died, 175 people were injured.
