The Atamoglan Karimov crane vessel of the Caspian Oil Fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) has been repaired.
ASCO told AZERTAC that the ship’s main engines were adjusted during the repairs at the Bibiheybat Shipyard. Current repair work was carried out on pumps, piping systems, control valves of ballast-drying systems, lifeboats, automatic control systems of machinery and electrical equipment.
The ship was lifted to the shipyard, the underwater part and the surface part were cleaned and painted. The damaged areas in the underwater and surface parts of the hull were replaced. In addition, the ship’s propulsion system, bottom and side fittings, treads were repaired.
After the repair, the Atamoglan Karimov crane ship was put to sea test. Testing was successfully completed and the ship was returned to operation.
