This year, the average annual growth of consumer prices in Azerbaijan is expected to be 4.5%, APA-Economics reports citing updated regional report of the World Bank.

It is noted that the rapid rise in prices for imported food and non-food products and the recovery of domestic demand will accelerate inflation this year. External inflationary pressures are expected to remain high in 2022 and then moderate.
