Azerbaijan and Belgium Engage in Political Consultations in Baku


Baku: On October 21, 2024, high-level political consultations were held between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Belgium, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and discussing international issues.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting was hosted in Baku where the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, and the Belgian delegation was headed by Jeroen Cooreman, Director-General for Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The consultations aimed to discuss the political relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of mutual visits and meetings at international events to sustain ongoing political dialogue.

During the discussions, both parties exchanged views on various global topics and other areas of mutual interest. The meeting underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen their diplomatic and political engagement.
