Azerbaijan Army Positions in Nakhchivan Targeted by Armenian Fire


Baku: Azerbaijani Army positions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic came under fire from Armenian forces on September 26, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. The attack occurred at approximately 16:10, when Armenian units fired large-caliber machine guns from positions near the Aravus settlement in the Gorus region.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani military responded with retaliatory measures in the direction of Lakatagh, Julfa region, where the attack was aimed. No further details on casualties or damage were provided by the Ministry of Defense at the time of the report.
