Wind Tuesday, also known as "Wind Awakening Tuesday" or "Windy Tuesday," is part of the series of the last Tuesdays leading up to Novruz. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the tradition holds that on Yel Charshanba, the awakened wind sets the water and fire in motion. This day is a significant part of the preparations and celebrations that lead to the Novruz holiday. The upcoming Earth Tuesday, which is the last of these Tuesdays, will be observed on March 17. Following this, the Novruz holiday is set to be celebrated in Azerbaijan on March 20-21.
