Azerbaijan detains Pakistani citizens at state border -PHOTO

On December 25 at 20:05, the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ali Sajjad Muhammad Amin, Mir Muhammad Khan Nadar, and Khan Rabani Muhammad Ashig were detained as they tried to violate the state border from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, in the service territory of the border outpost of the “Shamkir” border detachment of the State Border Service Border Troops located near Sadikhli village of Agstafa region, the Press Center of the State Border Service told APA.

During the investigation it was determined that the detained persons intended to officially enter the country, cross the state border and migrate from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, and from there to one of the European countries.

Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
