Azerbaijan establishes joint cyber security center with Israel-

A delegation led by Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev is visiting Israel, APA-Economics reports citing the ministry.

Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the well-known Israeli Technion University signed an agreement during the visit. The Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center, which will start operating under the agreement, will train more than 1,000 professionals over the next three years.

Training on the sidelines of the program will be conducted by the teaching staff of Technion University in Baku, and admission to the program is expected to be announced soon.

One of the main advantages of the Azerbaijan Cyber Security Center is the training of local trainers along with cyber security specialists. Training of trainers at the center will allow for the expansion of training of specialists in the field of cyber security in the future, and eliminate shortcomings in this area.
