So far Azerbaijan has spent 4.4 billion manats, or about $2.6 billion, for the restoration and reconstruction of the territories liberated from occupation.

Tair Mirkishili, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, said.

“Huge projects are ongoing in Karabakh,” he noted.

In 2023, 3 billion manats, or about $1.8 billion, is planned to be allocated from Karabakh’s state budget. This is up by 12.4 percent from the approved 2022 forecast
