Azerbaijan increased revenue from electricity exports by 75 in 2022%

Azerbaijan exported 1 billion 711 million 432.88 thousand kWh of electricity in 2022 (an increase of 7.7% compared to 2021) in the amount of $121 million 598.37 thousand (an increase of 75.4%).

 

According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in the structure of exports, electricity supplies to Russia in 2022 amounted to 91 million 529.56 thousand kWh (a decline of 11.6%) in the amount of $3 million 644.23 thousand, to Georgia – 551 million 878.8 thousand kWh (a decline of 26.5%) by $33 million 213.97 thousand, Turkey – 964 million 453.7 thousand kWh (an increase of 86.6%) by $79 million 267 thousand, Iran – 103 million 571.21 thousand kWh (a decline of 50.8%) by $5 million 473 thousand.

 

It should be noted that in 2022 Azerbaijan imported 134 million 517.11 kWh of electricity (a decline of 18.3%) for $5 million 129 thousand (a decline of 15.5%).
