Azerbaijan MFA Commemorates 106th Anniversary of Baku’s Liberation


BAKU – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has publicly commemorated the 106th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from Armenian-Bolshevik forces, highlighting the historical significance of the event through a social media update.



According to Trend News Agency, the Ministry’s post on the social media platform X reflected on the pivotal moment in Azerbaijan’s history, stating, “Today marks 106 years since the liberation of Baku from Armenian-Bolshevik occupation. We remember the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for Baku’s freedom on September 15 with gratitude, a date inscribed in golden letters on the pages of Azerbaijan-Trkiye brotherhood.” This post serves as a reminder of the deep historical ties and shared sacrifices that underpin the Azerbaijan-Turkiye relationship.
