Necessary measures taken by law enforcement officers to clear the liberated territories of mines and other explosive devices, as well as to collect the weapons thrown by the Armenian military units during the withdrawal, are being successfully continued, the Barda regional group of the Interior Ministry’s (MIA) press Service told APA.

According to the MIA, In 2021, 225 submachine guns, 102 grenades, 68 machine guns, 64 tanks and anti-personnel missile systems, 10 mortars, 8 air defense systems, 721 grenades, 129 mines, ten thousands of shells and cartridges of different calibers were found and handed over.

As a result of the measures taken, about 17 tons of wild hemp were burned and destroyed in the liberated territories.
