Baku: The Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) and Malaysia's INTI International University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in education, scientific research, and international relations. The signing ceremony was attended by ASA Vice-Rectors Ulkar Babayeva and Taleh Galandarli, along with Department Head Hasan Ibrahimli.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreement facilitates the exchange of researchers and undergraduate students specializing in physiotherapy and sports management. It also includes plans for organizing joint seminars and conferences, promoting collaborative educational activities and knowledge sharing between the two institutions.
This MoU is notable as it marks the first cooperation agreement signed by ASA with a university in the Southeast Asia region, setting a precedent for future collaborations in the area.
