President Ilham Aliyev signed an order that recalled Khazar Ibrahim from the post of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey.

Rashad Mammadov who previously served as the head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan, has been appointed the new Ambassador to Ankara.

According to unofficial sources, Ibrahim is expected to be appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United States.

Also, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Washington, Elin Suleymanov will head the diplomatic mission in London.
