Iran considers Baku’s actions as “unilateral and hasty,” believing that all issues could have been resolved through “dialogue. Official Baku has not yet made a statement on the matter. In recent months about a hundred people have been detained in Azerbaijan on charges of spying for Iran. They were later charged with drug-related charges.
