Azerbaijani delegation to attend 27th annual session of OSCE PA

Azerbaijans parliamentary delegation led by deputy Speaker, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Bahar Muradova will attend the 27th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on the theme Implementing OSCE Commitments: The Role of Parliaments to be held in Berlin, Germany.

The delegation includes Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, MP Azay Guliyev, MPs Ulviya Aghayeva, Tahir Mirkishili, Elshad Hasanov and Kamran Nabizade.

The session will hear a resolution by the Azerbaijani delegation on Promoting Connectivity in the OSCE Area Through Development of Transport Links and Corridors, including by Revitalizing the Ancient Silk Road.

The 27th Annual Session will also feature the adoption of the resolutions on the theme Preventing and Countering Terrorism, Violent Extremism and Radicalization that Leads to Terrorism, Counteracting Propaganda for Hatred and War in the OSCE Area, A Shared Priority: Fostering Peace and Security Through Enabling Young People to Reach Their Full Potential, Preventing and Combating Gender-Based Violence, Reaffirming the Commitment to and Guarantees of the Effective Operation of the OSCE.

The members of the Azerbaijani delegation will deliver speeches and share their views on the issues to be submitted for discussion.
