Azerbaijans Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia Dato’ Yubazlan Bin Yusof. The current state of relations between the two countries was hailed, the importance of increasing the people-to-people contacts was emphasized at the meeting. Underlining the existing great potential for further expansion of economic cooperation, the sides emphasized the energy and transport sectors in this regard.
The sides noted the importance of the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries for further development of the relations.
Ambassador Dato’ Yubazlan Bin Yusof expressed Malaysia’s keenness to develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields and mentioned that he will spare no efforts to further enhance bilateral relations during his diplomatic tenure.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov wished the Malaysian Ambassador all the best in his diplomatic activities.
Ambassador Dato’ Yubazlan Bin Yusof presented the copy of his credentials to Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
